The dot work in this work is really nice; their rows and colors are really cute. The salamander is adorable. Fine acrylic painting in this style. The blues on the left and the burgundies are nice also. It appears it may have taken a while to do this work in detail and pattern consistency. Best wishes.

Having been to New Zealand and Australia, I have visited an Aboriginal Cultural Center. I would say that you have nailed the style of artwork I saw at the Cultural Center. I would go back tomorrow. The colors and the diagonal application of the color and pattern is very creative. The salamander's form and function of crawling is so well done. The series of dots and color is so representative of the Aboriginal culture.

In doing this piece, I was trying to create in the aboriginal style of art, a painting that tells a story. Using mostly dots of color to do define various shapes, textures and a few line to do that.
