WOW! How efficient you are as a photographer at capturing this 'ready pose' countenance of the eagle, and in clear detail. I also admire how the fluffy white feathered coloring of the eagle's head appears to complement the fluffy water waves, and the rest of the eagle's feathered body appears to mirror the calmer looking water waves.
BRAVO to your-in my opinion- National Geographic Magazine Cover-Ready photograph.

What a fearsome look those eyes have. A great take thou, full facial. Super clear aling with those waves and I like the glossy seaweed. Good position and layout.

Oh my! He looks quite intense. The cloudy day made for a very unique look. It almost looks like a spot color shot. His beak and feet really stand out. Very cool effect from the day! Great close up with fine detailing.

This is an incredible capture Pat! For me it is not only this beautiful eagle and how he's looking straight at you but the beautiful waves crashing in the background are so impressive! This has lovely focus and beautiful clarity. The natural tones are stunning. I wish I had a six to reward this with! Very well done!

Thanks so much Jodi! The very first time I saw an eagle glaring back at me through the lens, I felt intimidated, I have since learned that they will always yield to a human. There are so many of them here in Anchor Point , I love to just watch them.

Thank you so much Mary! The very first time I had an eagle in the camera viewer and it glared at me, I was intimidated! I have since learned that they yield to people, it?s just the way their faces look ,like they are angry all the time! I am truly honored by your six stars!

Pat,
A beautiful picture of the Bald eagle it's head turned staring you out, with the tide coming in behind. The light sparkling in it's golden eyes while catching the shine on it's hooked yellow beak & feet, highlighting it's brown & white plumage. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques& sharp focus.

A good looking nature image posted here! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of that cross-looking eagle. Like its beak and eyes. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well taken!
