Lovely scene. Yes the pier is unusual, and named after the American president Eisenhower? The water and blues in it, the boat and the distant water and sky is especially pretty.

I would love to heading out with this watercraft. Living on the shores of Lake Michigan, using channels lined by seawalls is a very common sight in Michigan. The usual seawall is unique and makes curious as to it's construction. It appears that there is a marina beyond the seawall. Great lighting construction and interesting scene content.

An interesting picture of the motor boat speeding past Eisenhower pier in Belfast with yachts masts seen over the top of the pier under a blue sky with wind blown clouds in the distance that is reflected in the sea 's glistening surface. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

I can't explain the rather unique looking pier ( although It makes me think of the 'Submarine Nets' that were used to keep The 'I' Boats of the Imperial Japanese Navy from sneaking into important anchorages like the one at Ulithi atoll in the Pacific Ocean during the latter stages of WWII ) but I can easily say that this picture is Outstanding in my opinion!
It's genuinely interesting,it's beautifully-presented,and I'm enjoying it a lot!

You have captured the remarkable structure in a complimentary way. It appears to be a fine design and you captured it. The masts in the background add to the description of the shot along with the clouds and the houses along the waterfront. Of course the boat gives a idea of dimension. Very nicely taken . Ray
