Have no idea what type of flower this is but it's very interesting. Over all the color, tone, lighting are spot on. Very nice presentation. Thanks for sharing!

A very interesting and unique visual presented hero this amazing flower. I've never seen one that looked like this before. Composition shades, stone colors, and background highlight your subject perfectly beautifully done. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you. I hadn't seen this before, either on this plant in my back yard. Haven't seen it since.

I've never seen a Twisted Celosia. This odd and intriguing growth, certainly makes the image interesting with a story - or rather in this instance a reason to want to learn more about the Celosia plant.

Thank you for your lovely comments. I'm not sure if it is a celosia. The flower shown just below it is the actual normal flower.

Love the bright colours in this image, your flower is pin sharp
Against the muted background
Framing is perfect, such an unusual flower. Well done

It is so unique and beautiful.
It looks like a ruffles. That other red flower at the bottom I presumed is completely different from the other, right. It looks like a tropical flower. Anyway, I like the striking contrast of colors with the green blades at the background. The vertical frame fits well. Lighting, angle, and focus are great. An exotic scene that reminds me of the tropics.

Thank you, Nieves, for your comments. Actually, the flower at the bottom is what they normally look like. The curly one is quite an anomaly.

I'm familiar with the one at the bottom. It's tropical.

This is an interesting plant. This twisted thing at the center looks like a fungus rather than a flower.
Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of light and color. The photo is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

Celosia argentea, I looked it up and this is what I found or it might have mutated. Looks quite the sight. Do you have a garden center near by? you may find out there . good luck Ray

Thanks Ray. I have found out the bush is commonly known as a Firespike Plant. But I have never seen this develop at the end of the spike before.
