Pat this is amazing , better than any post card. The capture is so crisp and clear and the colors deepen the mood of serenity. The trees along the shoreline and their reflection enhance the picture with depth. What a place to be. Thank you for this. Ray

This is just stunning Pat! It's hard to believe that this is 11 PM but the sunset is beautiful and the low-key lighting is extraordinary. The various shades of green or so beautifully captured and the reflection on the still water is amazing. Beautifully composed and done with obvious technique and skill. Thank you so much Jodi! We have almost constant daylight from June until the 26 of August, then the sky fully darkens after sunset. Sunset is at 9; 45 now.

I could not compete with you in a landscape or animal photo contest. You are a powerhouse with them. These are great photos. I do remember seeing one that I thought was subpar for you. Doesn't make a difference. Another great photo.

My niece has the patients for photographing people. Modeling I can do. but parties now way. I know my limits.But I do try.

Yes, I can see that ! A model has the expertise to pose, with a party, the photographer has to arrange the poses, manage the lighting, check the background and in effect, make everything look natural. There?s a lot of anxiety !

True. I took photos as well as my niece. She set it up both shot. I am better at good snap shots of people. Nothing to set up.

This landscape is beautiful. The mountains at the background are impressive. How the swathes of fog are obscuring the mountain tops is interesting. The reflections in the motionless water are fascinating. Your photo is excellent focused and exposed and has impressive depth. I enjoy the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The photo is perfect composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
