The scene certainly fits the topic. The fact that we even can imagine this scene says something about today's political environment. The striking red flowing through the landscape is disturbing and scary. Your interpretation of the contest has hit the nail on the head.

The theme indicates a situation that would indeed be most undesirable. The reds are so sharp; the blues and neutrals in foreground nice too; the sky is nice. Let us pray this never happens but in Scriptures there will come a time...

This is a powerful painting with its bold colors and frightening title.
I pray life doesn't get as bad as this depicts but it is disconcerting the direction politics is taking, not only in the US but across the world.

Streets are covered with blood. This is a conceptual painting, albeit exaggerated for shock effects! Thanks so very much for the time and the fine review! I really appreciate it!
