I love the mixed media used. It almost looks like art.

You can still see the reality of the actual photo. All the details enhanced to show the actual history.

Hi Brian, love the look you gave this! The Mixed media touches have a way of matching the time period. I think this image has a rustic look. A second glance made me feel if there was a newspaper at the time that this would be an image we'd see in it. That extra touch makes you image stand out even more. I like how you felt the mood. This is awesome Brian, initial impression was that I am looking at a painting, I think your use of mixed media was a great choice for this close up of the soldier, I especially like the helmet and the details that you brought forward.
I can see that this is well focused, the image is clear , exposure is correct, all colors and tones appear true and natural.
The close up allows a good look at this soldier.
Well composed and presented!

It is always nice to see alternate approaches. The close -up shot reveals a lot of details of the gear the actor is wearing! The light and shadows, colours and, composition have worked out well. Good effort!
