The subject is correct, green. I understand your photo Patterns Of Green. But they do get lost to the background.It's green also. The patterns are nice. But take one leaf and photograph the pattern. I can see a couple of nice patterns that would be beautiful for the contest.

Well photographed green oak leaves, we don't have oak trees here in Alaska so it's a treat to see them here.
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural.
You have brought out such good detail as well as a good sense of the shape of these leaves.
Well composed with a nice placement of the leaves within the frame.

Well photographed green oak leaves, we don't have oak trees here in Alaska so it's a treat to see them here.
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural.
You have brought out such good detail as well as a good sense of the shape of these leaves.
Well composed with a nice placement of the leaves within the frame.

Leaves seem to be the topic of the Green contest. I believe these are grape leaves. The lighting on the main cast of characters is very well done. The dark backdrop helps pop the scene. The diagonal display of the leaves works well.

The oak leaves are truly pretty, and they have such a nice deep green color. I do however find the background a bit too busy with all the light spots, but still the leaves are standing out well.
The photo is sharp with clear and well defined details, and also the exposure is working,
The photo is nicely cropped, and I like the diagonal placement of the leaves within the frame. All together a lovely and well taken photo, but in need of some improvement. I wish you luck with the contest.

Fine entry into the contest with the large leaves. The spots of sky, flashes of whites and yellows popping through add to the scene. The elements, including the tree trunk, of the forest portion are all nice.
