Beautiful scene and a very good technically constructed scene. The rich blues and the striking lighthouse structure give the photo a very finished feel. The spit of land connecting the lighthouse ties the scene up in a very nice bow. Very cool shot.

It is a fine looking light house you have pictured here, and the sailing boat on the right adds a lot of interest. I also like the slight white reflection from the light house in the shiny water.
The light house is standing out sharp and well defined from the blue sky, and it is clear details to be seen. The white balance and the exposure is perfect.
The format and framing is fine, and I think it is a good balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well taken photo, and with a very good DOF.

This scene reminds me of my years growing up in Connecticut and sailing with my family up the coast to Maine.
I love the clarity and how my eye travels from the rock outcropping diagonally to the sail on the horizon.
Lovely blues in the water.
Very nice.

Nice overall image this and although its a straight forward photo i like it think had the sailboat been a bit more on the right think it would have had a better balance but minor point in this...Brian
