Interesting work. I can find at least eight birds that look like turkeys or maybe turkey vultures behind the screen. Funny I find they are more easily spotted in the small version than the large. Cool

I am afraid you will never find the truth you are searching for, you just need to have faith. Still I am thinking just like you. Since this is an abstract, it is not easy to see the search for truth. Had you come with another explanation of this work, I would have accepted that as well.
So the reason I really like this abstract is the color pallet you have used, the great textures and the play of light and dark. It is almost like I see a woman in the center of the painting, and all the small squares are intriguing.
The format and framing is working well, and it is a fine flow and balance in the composition. I think this is a great looking and well done abstract painting Ray, and I wish you luck with the contest.

This one jumps off the page for me. The old man sitting amidst the mist of the strong colors tells a great story of age, wisdom and serenity. The name that comes to me is Father Time. The white flowing beard and his arm seems to be raised holding something. The open white spaces help give definition to the scene.

I see an older couple standing hand in hand as they stare out for some sign of a greater power, they appear to be standing in a beautiful garden that is lit by the sun. Perhaps something in their life has caused them to lose faith, so they search . This is so well created with wonderful colors and such a beautiful show of the light , I like also the impression of a screen over this abstract piece.

Maybe someone got she is looking into a different universe. There seems to be a white, ghostly looking shadow at the center surrounded by an alien landscape. The colors are appealing. Your abstract acrylic is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
