Amazing digital art; just amazing. It looks just like a traditional painting. Your detail is realistic but yet still has the traditional art feeling.

This digital painting is very well rendered. Lovely smooth effects. Fineness of the features well drawn. The shading is just fine. Overall a very good effort.

Fairly good digital work that actually looks realistic. The cardinal actually appears fluffy and the black, bright eye, and beak are all realistic too. The background looks painted rather ok.

This is a beautiful painting of a northern cardinal!

Your use of brush strokes to bring out the textures of feathers and the way you blend the colors is very nice The beak and eyes are also well done!

Thank you for sharing it.

Beautiful portrait of the male cardinal.

Nice details and various shadings used to add realism to the portrait

Great job.

Cool,Cleo!
This colorful male specimen has a pleasingly 'Dinosaurian' look about it's facial features which is really 'only natural' and which I,m enjoying very much!
Those nicely contrasting red and green shades look great!

I think a lot of this is very well done. However, the eye is off, that gray area where for me there should be a brown, representing the pupil with the highlight should be, as you show it being gray it is a detector to the flow and the eye looks off.
For me, my eye is stuck there, because for me it looks incorrect/inaccurate.
If that were corrected I think you would have a very successful digital image, because all the rest of the image is balanced in the colors used and by the way they are blended.

Thank you very much, Lucien for your honest and critical review! :o)
I have to think about your input, because there is no natural brown at the plumage of the bird. To me, areas were the light falls onto have rather shades of gray. :o)

cleo, i am talking about the gray in the eye only, it should be brown. hope that clears up where it think it should be brown.
    have a good day.

    Thank you, Lucien.
It must be my eyes. I did paint a white light reflection, but not any gray within the eye.
    Cheers

This is a beautiful work of art. This beautiful northern cardinal appears magical. He is majestic and proud. Your art is always a pleasure to view. It almost appears as a photograph. Beautifully accomplished.
