Nice picture. The house really looks like a haunted house :-))) Maybe looks more like an abandoned house, but it really depends on the point of view. Good luck with the contest!

An interesting looking old house which unfortunately is softly focused so we lose definition of the detail. The central composition is okay but the building on right is a distraction I would have tried a different angle or cloned it out.

If this house is haunted, I think a grey sky is just fine. I like photos of old houses because it is such a fine patina and textures to be seen in the wood. The house is also standing out from the sky in an excellent way.
The photo is sharp and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in the house. The exposure is very good.
The photo is nicely cropped, but you could probably have taken a bit more off at the bottom of the photo. I think it is a fine and well taken photo with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest,

Someone took a lot of time and care in designing the house judging from the dormer and arched windows.
I'm intrigued by how close the cornfield is planted to the house.
