It's kind of mysterious but yet romantic. I almost see a man with a piano. Strange. At first I thought I saw two people at a table. It's strange, it's like looking at stucco ceilings and seeing different things.
That's what I love about your art. It's mysterious, intriguing and magical!!!

Linda, this is a wonderful review. I try to give the viewer just enough to excite curiosity and wonder. My paintings need time not just a quick look. This is a gathering of musicians playing by candle light, acoustically, being influenced by the mystique of the candle. You picked up on it right away, that is making a connection and that is what is so rewarding to me and hopefully inspiring to you. Thank you again for your wonderful comments and review. Ray

I agree that there is a certain mystique about a candle Flame and the soft ambient glow it emits. This sets the mood perfectly. Great colors and I really like that we see the candle and it's bright flame.

The layering in this gives an abstract sense. Love the colors and light. Definitely a warm sense without being to bold. Great job. This will be very nice framed.
