This photo is completely wrong. Wrong for the interest in the middle and wrong for the tree to grow sideways. But in this case the two wrongs make for a very interesting right. This tree could not be photographed any other way. Excellent capture.

Chuck,
A beautiful picture of the Palm Tree with it's trunk curving up out of the water to keep the top of the tree abover the water the reflections on the lake of the sky & the tree on it's glistening surface is an added bonus. The lake framed by the trees & bushes in the background under a pale clear blue sky with four birds flying over the tree. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A beautiful picture of the Palm Tree with it's trunk curving up out of the water to keep the top of the tree abover the water the reflections on the lake of the sky & the tree on it's glistening surface is an added bonus. The lake framed by the trees & bushes in the background under a pale clear blue sky with four birds flying over the tree. It is pretty amazing that this palm tree is still sort of standing up. It is also a lovely landscape you have pictured here, and I especially like the fine reflections you have captured in the water. I also appreciate the nice and natural colors.
The photo is sharp and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in the palm tree. The exposure is perfect.
The format is working well, and I think it is a fine balance in the composition. This is a lovely and well taken photo Chuck, and with an excellent DOF.

It is interesting how the palm tree seems to be growing out of the water. The water surrounding the tree provides good framing. The palm tree in the foreground adds depth to the photo. The focus id very good. A very nice photo.
