This is a great entry for this contest! I have never heard of a tent caterpillar, I find it fascinating to see the way they are all together here.
You have photographed them well to show how they destroy the plant.
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, the colors and tones appear natural.

ha, we consider them a pest, when there are millions of them all the trees are bear like winter after they pass by, they go all over houses and can actually make highways slippery when cars drive over them
