The foreground is quite realistic. The rest is good in the cartoonist-like style, especially the car. The man appears a little out of proportion for the car but the car is cute. All in all, an endearing scene. Best wishes.

Thank you Glena for your review yes the man is large but in reality as the car was tiny.

I like it too. I like the colors you have chosen they complement each other. I like the thatched cottage roof, typically European. I like the year 1948 the year I was born. Thank you for sharing and good luck in the contest. Ray

It is always nice to see alternate approaches. The concept really speaks here. You seem to draw inspiration from your thoughts. If you could trim the edges properly and repost it, it will have a better visual effect. Good luck!

Thank you and yes I trimmed it .. difficult as in a book and makes the car a bit tight but... there you go

Lol that happens to me so often. I start off serious then it looks cartoonish. Hilarious. Yours turned out great though. The cartoonish look is awesome

I really like it!
Good luck in the contest!

Linda

Cool artwork showing the rally car as it races along - would have left more room in front of car rather than space behind. Like the addition of the numbers on house and the colors used are complementary to each other.

Thank you for reviewing ... yes a little bit more room in front of the car, I agree. The house is a real place and I think the numbers will be the year of the build.

This is a cute cartoon. It could make a book of stories witch children; their parents and grandparents could read to each other. Your drawing is excellent rendered. The colors are realistic and pleasant. I appreciate your attention to realistic color and detail. Propo5rtions and perspective are correct. The artwork is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

Thank you for reviewing. The children stories is a good idea. I do have a children's collection which somehow has been forgotten, this could jolt it out. I must think about it.

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of that old car and its location. Reckon the vehicle is older than 1948? Well created and good luck!
