I think it is a fine book cover you have created here, and I do hope you will manage to finish the book. I don't think it matters if the cover show another island.

As you know I am preoccupied with colors, and in my opinion I would try to also make the foreground in more blue hues than the green tint. I do however appreciate that this is a matter of taste.

The lay out is working well with the girl in the foreground as the center of interest. Also the text is nicely placed. I think it is a lovely and well done book cover Daphne.

I did manage to change the tint of the water to a bit more blue tint, and I uploaded the new image but for me the old one is still what shows up. I even rebooted my computer! But anyway I think that was a good suggestion. I only have Abobe Illustrator, not photoshop, so I am a bit limited to what I can do with a photograph, but thank you for the suggestion... Hopefully the new image with bluer water will come in eventually!
