Excellent, I would love to see this one as a panoramic shot.. this kind of lends itself to it.

Great colors and true eye-opener.

Love the look of the clouds.

Thanks so much Eileen! I will play with this and see how it looks as a pano. I appreciate your comments!

Pat,
A beautiful picture of the view along your road out of your Campground in North Pole with the windblown clouds racing across the heaves the sunlight between the clouds lighting up the dark green Pines & Aspens showing off their golden foliage before it drops lining on either side of the road that leads the eye into the heart of the picture.

Wow what a contrast Pat it almost looks artificial. What a beautiful Road to travel.. The angle is so good to give perspective and create an arrow to the brilliantly captured dramatic sky.

Great shot through the windshield Im assuming unless you stopped and took the photo.

Thank you so much Linda! It was the sky here that made me stop and get out to capture it! I appreciate your wonderful review!

Must have been tough leaving your camp but nice to be going back home. The weather was on your side and the fall colors were too. Very nicely done, Pat and big sky to accompany you home. Ray

Thank you so much Ray! It was very tough to leave this camp, we knew we were heading home to rain! It was such a great time up north.

If this was shot through a windshield it was a mighty clean windshield! Such a stunning and beautiful landscape and sky with low, fleecy clouds! Thanks for sharing! This photo makes me want to be there!

Beautiful photograph of the scenery with dramatic sky and so nicely presented Pat!
The beginning of fall and its wonderful colors will soon be covered with snow and we will be waiting for the new camping trips next year.
Great details, composition and nice to view.

This again is a well taken photo and who would have thought a picture of a road would be interesting,of course its the sky that makes this one but still a good one...Brian

Thank you so much Brian! It was the sky here that made me stop and get out to capture it! There are not a lot of mountains up north in the interior of Alaska .

A good looking nature image posted here! Thought the North Pole was constantly covered with snow and ice? Your fine and classical composition reveals a lovely and ordinary landscape. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Nicely done!

Thank you so much! This is just a little place here in Alaska that they named North Pole !

a nice vantage point Pat with the road framed by the pine trees; but what I mostly like is the capture of the dark clouds;...................................................
