It is a creative idea you had Allan, and when I look at the smaller picture it looks perfect. But when I look at the larger one I think the texture is a bit too distinct. Still the photo has a very delicate look I like very much. I also like very much the way the white rose is filling the frame.
The photo must have been quite sharp and I can see that the white balance and exposure is perfect. Perhaps just a bit more contrast ?
The format and tight framing is perfect, and the rose has got a very good placement within the frame. All together I think this is a lovely and well done mixed media.

I had in mind a table mat with the texture to hold the plates better.
I should have maybe saved it for a "high key" contest. I did really enjoy the mixed media work on this piece. Art/photography is so cool now days. Thanks again for this off the chart review!

Yes, a table mat would be fabulous, very elegant, it would also be beautiful printed as a greeting card face or stationary, although people don?t write letters anymore, I just love the style of it and the way it drew me in .
