Hi Charolette , welcome to this sight and congratulations on your first post!
The crocus is such a gorgeous flower and here you show a clump of at least six of the crocus blooms.
They are well placed within the frame . Well focused, this image is clear, I like the way the light is falling upon the blooms , exposure is correct, the colors and tones appear natural, the purple and green together is one of my favorite combinations of color, I like the gold stamens standing up in the center of the petals.

This is a beautiful shot and post work on these gorgeous flowers. Your lighting is so nice with the blacked out back drop. My only change would be cropping most of the black area off the bottom. In my opinion that would give a more pleasing balance to the photo. Like I said that is my opinion and it is a wonderful picture ether way. Well done.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. Funnily enough, before posting it I did try cropping it exactly as you suggest (I thought it'd be better like that too!), but it just didn't seem to work, the shape was wrong somehow. Maybe I'm just too used to the standard dimensions of a photo! Lol
