As this was unraveling on my screen I was thinking that I would see an extreme close-up of an elephant's forehead but then the piece of ivory presented itself. I thought that was pretty cool. I wonder what the overall piece would look like if the 'back-dress' was in full color. Might make for a super neat contrast against the white.

The piece [about 1 inch in size] is old ivory. It doesn't have any color, but small parts of the decoration at the back reflect golden if light hits them

Looks like he was a great model. The deft use of accents helped let the white elephant out of the white curtain of misty feeling. The scene has a great feeling of depth. The sizing of the elephant compared to the scene is well balanced. Good luck un the contest.

The white elephant is adorable , I really like the way it is posed with its trunk curled up and the tip touching its head.
Well created with good shape and structure , I love the way it is dressed with the fancy saddle with the gold detail.
The elephant is standing out so well from the silvery white background.

That the Elephant is fading at left is intentional. I wanted him to appear as if he is emerging through the wall.

I think this is a lovely an unusual entry into this contest, and I especially like the limited color pallet and the nicely textured background. I am actually collecting elephants, so I would have loved to have one like this.
The white elephant is standing out well defined against the background, and it is lovely details to be seen.
The format and framing is fine, and the elephant has got a fine placement within the frame. Perhaps just a tad more negative space on the right, would have been even better. A lovely and well done digital painting, and I wish you luck with the contest.
