What a post card. Very nice. Although there is a briskness in the air, your shot has a definite sense of warmth to it. For me, it's the colors of the clouds above and reflected below.

This is just a fantastic sunset Pat, and it is almost like the drifting clouds are on fire. Still it is especially the great reflections you have captured in the shiny water of the lake doing this photo more than anything.
The photo is sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in the silhouettes trees. The exposure is spot on.
The format you have cropped the photo into works well, and it is a very good balance in the composition. A truly beautiful and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.
