Hi Mary, You caught an emotion here! The tiger looks like she is pleading for something. It's kind of a sad look. Even with that look she is truly a beautiful creature. Your image captures the soul of this tiger. Great lighting and focus just draw us to that face. Very nicely captured! :o) Nancy

Thanks so much Nancy, she does seem quite happy with her enclosure and hopefully will mate with the male and get some offspring.

What a magnificent-looking animal! This is beautiful wildlife photography. You have framed it well. The light and the composition have worked well, and you have caught the beautiful look of the tigress very well. Good effort.

What a great photo of this beautiful tiger. Gorgeous

Great details and colours.

Exposure is excellent. Your photography skills are well shown in this photo for sure.

This is a beautiful animal and although I would like her to be free and not at a zoo, the TV are truly amazing creatures of the earth.

Im happy to see she has a field to run in and feel alive and free.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks so very much - our zoo is part of breeding progam for many endangered animals including the tiger. She was bought over here recently and they are hoping she will mate with Kembali the male.

Omg that would be so awesome. Oh I thought you had said it was a zoo. Endangered species for breeding is important. And she sure is beautiful.

It is a zoo but they have several programs to breed endangered animals. They have returned a lot to the wild where it is safe to do so. Mongolian horses have had a lot of success and returned to their native environment.

Oh I see. Well these animals sound like a magical place to be. Wish I could see them. Your photo is amazing.

Very well captured; your shots shows us this pretty tiger in a beautiful and natural way. Well focused with good composition and natural colors. I like the softened background and how the greens contrast with the tigers colors. Well done, thanks for sharing!

Hi Mary!
That's a wonderful portrait picture of this popular and very impressive animal,my friend!
I was just researching the extinct 'Tasmanian Tiger'
( a Thylacine Marsupial which had a more Canine than Feline look! ) so seeing this fine picture is a real treat! : D

Thanks so much Sean :) Some say they have sighted the Tasmanian Tiger over recent years but also they are experimenting with DNA to try and resurrect the Tassie tiger - not sure I agree with interfering with nature to that extent.

    I like the idea a lot,Mary!
We've made great progress in bringing the Wooley Mammoth back! ( They're staying quiet about it but...it's Back! )

This is such a good looking Tiger Mary, and you have pictured her so well. I also like very much the green foliage as a background, and Delilah is standing out from it in an excellent way. The light is falling so lovely on her.

The photo is very sharp showing such clear and well defined details in every part of the tiger, and you have also brought out so well the fine textures of the fur. The exposure is spot on.

The panorama format is working well, and the tiger is well placed within the frame. Indeed a beautiful and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF. Sorry I don't have any 6 stars left to give.

Beautiful capture of this tiger, she is well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, her colors and tones appear natural.
Well defined detail in her face, nice clear eye! She is looking right at you!
I like that she is posed in front of the grass, well composed and presented!
