This is such a lovely color and flower. The close up creates such a poetic view of the lavender pink petals and center. It's mininlmalistic and perfect for a cozy spot on a wall. Beautiful work.

Thanks so much, you are so kind. If I am understanding your question, the flower was actually against a wooden fence. After brightening the whole picture, I selected the fence, increased the contrast to the max, darkened it to the max then WALLA! LOL

This is a beautiful Echinacea flower, pink petals and an orange center. I would say that this is a beautifully presented flower, isolated, but it stands tall and is easily recognizable. Thank yo for sharing this aand good luck in the flower contest. Ray

This is a lovely cone flower , you have photographed it well with good focus on the pink petals and the rust colored center.
Exposure is well managed, the colors and tones appear natural.
The flower is standing out so well from the black background . This is another favorite of mine and I plan to get some for my yard!

I love the black background, which really makes the colours stand out.
Beautifully focused with a great depth of field.
I'm wondering though if it might be even better if you cropped some of the background out, especially at the top, which I feel would give it even more umph - but that's just my opinion.

I see your point, but to my knowledge it?s not required that I learn every detail of the flowers I shoot. Reviews are for specifics on the actual photograph itself which you gave zero interest in. I do see your point though, but next time when you give me a 4.5, let it be something with the photo itself please. There is nothing in the guidelines that say I have to know specific flower names. That?s your opinion, not FAR?s.
