This is just beautiful with so much texture! The background being muted and soft really sets off the flowers so perfectly. You really have captured such great details in the flowers themselves making them feel so real. It's such a pleasing picture to look at. Well done!

As I gaze into this floral spectacular the first thing that comes to mind is the bright edged petals of these Japanese cherry blossoms as they seemingly pull away from the scene, leaving the softness behind. The pinkish, light lavender petal color adds to the soft beauty of these flowers. A wonderful deserving presentation of Japanese Cherry blossoms. Ray

I thought it was a painting but I know that you make such a sophisticated post production for a photo to look like a painting; outstanding sharp details;

There is something so very special about cherry blossoms ! I actually got to see these in person when I was in California in the spring! This is just gorgeous Annie, you have brought out every detail in these Japanese Cherry blossoms , I love the way the branch is reaching in from top right , the blossoms come forward from the soft tones in background , your use of mixed media gives this the impression of a well executed painting . This would be beautiful printed large and hung on a dining room wall.
Your floral images are always so well thought out and presented!

Wow this is stunning!
I didn't understand a word on how you created it, but hey I don't need to to see what a great piece of art this is.
The detail in the flowers is incredible, making them almost literally stand out of the image. They look so real and the petals are so delicate one feels one can almost touch them.

Annie,
A beautiful picture of these pink Prunus serrulata blossoms standing out from one of your unique backgrounds that has the appearance of an Oil Painting. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera & editing techniques & sharp focus.

Annie ... your post processing wizardry has given us another gem.

The colors of this piece are so complimentary of one another. The placement within the frame makes the blossoms pop.

The background is intriguing. Although I know the original background has been overlaid with a specific mixed media algorithm, it still looks for all the world like what one would get with an f-stop of, say f/2.8 - simply marvelous.

I delighted in the fine detail of the petals. The detail of the stamens is very strong, but what got my attention was the fine detail of the petal crenulations - superb.

I really enjoyed reviewing this one ... Bob
