Sean, she was all guts and glamor. As many, she needed something to lean on and that was alcohol. When she sang, you just wanted to hear her. Thank you for the wonderful review and rating. She was so good and left too soon. Ray

Your composition is very appealing as Miss Winehouse seems to be just coming into view and it gives us the illusion of beautiful depth. This is really good. I like the simplicity of the drawing and that you captured Amy's look.
I really don't understand the line art rules though. It seems Line art has so many variations.
However I do see this as a great entry and a winning one.

I recognized Amy straight away, and I also think this is a truly great entry into a contest like this. A very good example of line art, and I really like the simplicity.
Even with few lines you have paid a very good attention to details and your pencil work is really good.
I also like the square format and how you have placed the face off to the right. It is a truly lovely and well done drawing Ray, and I wish you luck with the contest.

I recognized Amy straight away, and I also think this is a truly great entry into a contest like this. A very good example of line art, and I really like the simplicity.
