It is a truly lovely scene you have pictured here, and I especially like the low vantage point including the maple leaves in the foreground.

I would have liked that the photo was sharper all the way through, but the leaves up front is in sharp focus showing clear and well defined details. The exposure is very good, and the colors are crisp and clear.

The tall format works well, and it is a fine balance in the composition. It is a lovely and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Beautiful photo! A lovely view of this interesting creek. Exposure and sharpness are fine. It is nicely done! We used to live in Birmingham. My son lives near Huntsville.

This is so pretty. I love the depth you got and the angle you took this shot. Having the fall leaves on a rock in the foreground is stunning. I love the blue in the water as well. It looks cold and crisp as the winter air is coming in. The exposure and details are really done well.

The picture is perfect.

Jewell you have a beautiful photo of your get away spot. Clear rushing water and color galore. Lynyrd Skynyrd had it right, I love southern rock my fav is ZZTOP, it is too bad Dusty Hill had to leave us too soon. Good luck in the contest. Ray

Convention says moving water needs a long exposure to get that flowing impression. But this shot is a perfect example of why that axiom doesn't hold water.

Shallow creeks like this one look better with a moderate exposure such as you employed here. Just long enough so as to not stop the water but give it some character.

Surrounding objects are well focused and add dimension and scale to this scene.

Depth of focus is consistent across the entire scene.

This is a really good landscape ... Bob
