The sky or background is nice. The branch is plain. The golden browns on the lower body are lovely, but the top part causes a mixture that I can't tell very well. Thanks for sharing. Interesting info.

This beautiful little bird you've photographed perfectly!
I love that it's almost a black and white photo, but with those splashes of orange lightning it up.
The 'mist' works so well in the background, but you should never have told us it's the exhaust from your dryer - ha ha it's giving your secrets away!
The focussing is spot on, to have got the eye and the tail both in perfect focus is quite a feat on such a small bird.
Lovely job.

Cute little ball of fuzz and feathers. The chickadees are year around visitors to our feeder as well. The lighting and focus are great as it the view of the littel guy hanging on to the branch. I think the exhust is ruffling his feathers with some warmth. Cute post.

This is beautiful Pat!!! Very artistic and creative in your use of colour. The shape and clear lines of the wing create a sharp contrast against his fluffy baby feathers. Great composition and focus. He looks like he could use a warm hug to me...thanks for sharing
