A beautiful picture of this adorable white Kitten it's eyes fixed in the distance. The light falling on it highlighting it's beautiful soft fur & it stands out from the dark background. Artistic composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

As near a natural B&W of life as there can be.
You have a keen eye for pet photography. Attractive central placement of the kitten.
In Radiology X-Ray images that have many shades of grey is termed to have a long scale of contrast. When there but a few shades of grey it is said to have a short scale of contrast. This shot has the shortest scale of contrast on the planet.
This tremendous contrast is what I like about this piece. The grey frame was a brilliant idea. Not only does it keep the black background from becoming boring it is just enough to focus the viewers eye on the cat.

This is a cute little kitty!! I thought the green eyes were really sensational until i read about the filter lol. The black background makes him stand out, but it looks flat behind him so he seems to be floating there and looks a little odd at first glance. thanks for sharing
