Beautiful painting of these two ballerinas, this time resting and thinking about the performance.

The colors and shading on their dresses and expression on their faces are great. The darker background fits the beautiful presentation so well.

A lovely drawing of these two ballerinas, especially in pastel, which I've always found very difficult to use (without smudging!).
You've drawn the faces beautifully, something not everyone achieves on FAR! And the fall of the material in the girl's dress you've achieved well.

Love the elegant way you always present your ballerinas. Love how these two are gazing off into the distance. Looks like they're getting ready for a show or resting after one! Very pretty and well done! :o) Nancy

You have pictured these two resting ballerinas so well, and I especially like the limited color pallet with all brown hues. You have also used high lights in an excellent way, and this has brought life and light into the painting.

It is also easy to see that this was done paying a very good attention to details, and the brush work is very good.

The format and framing is perfect, and the ballerinas are well placed on the canvas. A truly lovely and well done painting Charles.

Beautiful painting of the two ballerinas as they sit , perhaps they are waiting for their turn to dance.
Very well shaped and structured beautiful faces and such awesome work to show the costumes .
Well arranged against the earth toned background , wonderful show of the lighting..
Well presented!

James, I like this one. A very respectful pastel piece. You used a limited palette and it works well. it is well balanced and well framed. Great detail and has a story to tell. Ray

A good looking image posted here! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of that lovely pair of ballerinas either resting or waiting. Colours, textures and tones are good. Nicely done!

Your pastel painting is lovely with fine marks and blending as usual. The dresses, especially the skirt of the one in front, are done well. The background is nice. I can't tell what or if the back lady is propping her arm on another item or if it is the back of what she seems to be sitting on; however, I am not going to deduct a .5 because yet it is somehow classically good.

I have a thing for Ballerina images because of my Mom who bought me my first piece of Ballerina art and this is creatuon you have here is exquisite. Both Ballerinas are so delicate looking in peach frock with gray hues. Elegant.

Hi James!
That's a fine looking pastel creation,my friend!
It has a pleasantly 'Classic' type of a tone and I'm enjoying it very much!
