Ray, this is such soft, pleasant painting of the lone gull with pastel colors and nice details.
Nice balanced presentation and overall pleasing to view.

This is a mind bender. Visually deceptive abstract art!:) I have to admit I did look for the love gull:) The light and shadows, colours and composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Thank you for this fantastic review, mind bender says it all. At the least, I got to twist your cerebellum and tickle your cortex. Your tongue and cheek comments ending with a smiley face, are well received. I love your profound statement, 'Visually deceptive abstract art' all art is an illusion and a visual deception. The Love Gull is in the A1 gallery two floors down, not to be confused with the LONE Gull, the one you just reviewed:) Ray

Chaxl, so glad you enjoy it and thank you for the fine review. It is like a journey, the hardest part is knowing when to stop and what to name it. Ray

This is an interesting perspective as the gull zooms around! Lovely abstract colors, shapes and intent of view. Your works are always so thoughtful and this is no exception! Love the textures. Thanks for sharing Ray!

I see flowers and trees and depending on how your imagination is it looks like someone picking a flower and definitely see the wind blowing through the trees.

You have just neutralized two 6 star ratings that are very hard to come by. I kind of think you made a mistake, If not kindly do not rate my work. Ray

Nicely presented as the Lone Gull makes his way through what appears to be flowers blowing in the warm breeze. Beautiful pastel colors with a splash of bolder reds. :) Mary

I immediately see the lone gull , it takes off and then it flys, there is so much more here though, there are two flowers up in top right, one is a rose , the other appears to be a mum , I see some structures on the top left and within them I see tall trees at the edge of a lake with a sailboat.,as my eyes wander over this page, there is a man walking on a beach , another flower down in lower left and just to the left of lower center I can see where the gull is coming in .
This is pretty amazing ! I think it would look awesome if printed large and hung on a wall , it would be fun to study , I know there is a lot to see here!
I like the colors and the way they come together , I also like the sense of a sunshiny day!
Well presented!

Thank you Sean, I was going to delve into prehistoric genus and species, but then that tried and true acronym KISS came in a blaring, so I "kept it simple". So glad you enjoyed it. Ray

As he soars on the currents, it appears that there is a crowd below watching him. His peaceful flight gives the crowd a view of peaceful flight. The colorful surroundings must give the gull a sense of wonder and awe of Nature.

Second title was the "The Joy of Solitude". Thank you Gary For delving into the abyss of consciousness and seeing the world through the eyes of "The Lone Gull", and that is awesome. Ray
