Congratulations on your milestone post! I like this river scene with the extraordinary blues and motion of rushing water. One could catch this scene by being close to the ground watching for fish to jump. Great work Ray!

Hey there Ray!
What a nice aesthetically appealing piece of abstract art this is. The colors work really well together and immediately capture the viewers' attention. I really like the purples and blues you chose. The touch of yellows and greens provide a nice compliment to the cooler colors. Beautiful work.

Hello Brady, thank you for the wonderful review, I am glad you enjoy it. In this piece I tried to balance cool with the warmth, other colors didn't seem to fit in.

Congrats on your 200th!!! I love the layered rocks towering above the river, they remind me of the rock layers in the ravine in the woods behind my house; wish there was at least a stream there instead of a seasonal water flow. Looks like someone has pitched a tent on the bank to enjoy the sound of the flowing water!

A very interesting image posted here. I would never have guessed that your full and fine composition was based on a river! Textures, colours and tones are good. Nicely created!

Thank you for the fine review. I am sorry that you looked but did not see the river or the person dead center gazing at it or his tent at his left, any way that's what I saw when I had to title this Landscape. Ray

Congrats for achieving the mile stone.! True to its title the painting exhibits a rough rocky surface. The colours add to its beauty. Thanks for sharing!

Ray, congratulations on your 200th post. This piece reminds me of one of my favourite places in Ontario called Georgian Bay. Your painting looks like some of the rock formations you will see there. I love the colour palette of this piece.

You have just neutralized two 6 star ratings that are very hard to come by. I kind of think you made a mistake, If not kindly do not rate my work. Ray

Cool!
This makes me think of how the icy Hudson River looks as it splits around the northern edge of Roger's Island here in old Fort Edward on cold winter mornings!
I'm enjoying this a LOT,my friend!
