This is a beautiful piece of history and you have done a wonderful job presenting it. The diverter, the red water wheel and the stone facade all so cool. Nancy, excellent photo and finishing. Ray

The photo is very well-taken. I always like photos of old things like this with notes that tell the story. I suppose that is why I have a master's degree in history. Like you, I am also a dual member of (FanArt/FanStory).

Hi Thomas, nice to meet a fellow writer here! :o) ... looks like you read my notes in the profile so I don't have to tell you I'm a poet. I haven't posted much there lately but I have written some poems for fellow member MKFlood's videos.
I remember reviewing you little mermaid drawing. I thought she was adorable.
This mill is almost directly across from Longfellow's Wayside Inn. There is a church across the street so you have everything you need for a wedding. AS you can imagine a lot of wedding images are taken in front of the mill. It really is a beautiful site. Thank you for the great review. :o) Nancy

This is a skilled and lovely side shot of such a gorgeous scene, my friend Nancy. The water is simply beautiful. The side of the mill with the various colors and cast is lovely; the rocks in front of and holding the wheel are lovely, as well as those in the water, and the log in foremost ground is detailed. The vivid foliage is lovely. That you could capture the whole so well is rather outstanding. And, this would also make a beautiful painting of perhaps taking a long time.

This is a capture made for postcards or calendars! A very beautiful pic taken with thought. It has every aspect of beauty possible in a natural setting! I can almost hear the water splashing and watch the wheel spinning in my imagination. Exposure and balance is beautiful. Great job

Hi Jewell, It is pretty isn't it! In warm weather people will actually bring a picnic lunch and blanket and sit on the ground to enjoy the view. It sounds like your mind's eye had a very relaxing visit! Thank you so much my friend for the extraordinary six star review! I'm honored! :o) Nancy

So did Mr.Ford build this mill as some kind of a historical exhibit,Nancy?
( I've read that he liked 'primitive' stuff like that! )
It's certainly an interesting picture,my friend!
I'm enjoying it a lot!

You have indeed pictured this mill well, and I especially like your point of view keeping the red mill wheel as the center of interest. You have pictured the flow of water in the background so well, and it is also fine textures to be seen in the rocky facade of the building.

This is also a sharp photo showing truly clear and well defined details in every part of the photo. The colors are crisp and clear and the exposure very good.

The format and framing is perfect, and it is a very good balance in the composition. I also like very much the way you edited this photo. A truly lovely and well taken photo Nancy.
