This is a beautiful lam and shade. I see pine cones just below the shade and one lone one at the top. Very warm and rustic. Something someone would find in a log cabin. Good luck in the contest. Ray

A good choice for this competition. The image is sharp, the detail is good and the colours are realistic. I like that you haven't placed it bang slap in the middle, but slightly to one side.

This rustic vintage lamp is stunning. The shade appears to be a parchment type material. The soft golden light is cast lights the wall beautifully. The slight offset of the lamps allows the light to bath the scene in a golden glow.

Many thanks for your feedback! Most reviewers were put off by the lack of a full bottom on this shot but the point was the lampshade so I am glad that you saw this as it was intended.

What an outstanding theme for the contest, with the alliteration of the lighted lamp and other golden lights within shining through, even brightening the lamp's details and the outside golden lights cast, along with the background reddish tones and darks. BEST WISHES in the contest indeed!

I am not seeing anything particularly outstanding about this, but I see nothing terrible either. (Wink)
I do like the shadow and lighting captured within your topic at hand.
However the bottom of the lamp pole should be showing to make a good composition.
