Smart, loyal, and protective three strong traits of this fine breed. When I had dogs the Shepard was my first choice.
Excellent stop action - all motion is halted so that I can count the teeth and the eyes are clear and sharp.
Color palette is earth toned through out. Contrast is even and long scale earth tone.
Colors appear natural and unenhanced.
Frame it and hang it or scrapbook it, either way this shot will be an anchor ... Bob

Kaiser is a truly handsome German Shepard, and he reminds me so much of a dog I had years ago called King. He really looks great in this photo running towards you with a stick in his mouth. The stop action is just perfect, and Kaiser is also standing out from the background in an excellent way.
The photo is pin sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the dog, and the exposure is spot on. I also appreciate the nice and natural colors.
The square format you have cropped the photo into is working so well, and Kaiser has got a fine placement off to the right. A truly lovely and well taken photo Pat, and with an excellent DOF.
