This is gorgeous. This reminds me of old old art. People who are famous for what they do.
I love the black and white and yes it opens your eyes to a variety of colours in your imagination.

Scenes like this stir the imagination. The street scene in black and white still screams colorful scenes. I can see the potted flowers and greenery growing on the old stucco walls. The balcony is bursting with flowers and shrubs. The sky has a light blue hue dotted with clouds. The rustic use of oil paints gives this the feel of one of the Old Masters. I love it.

Beautifully done! I will admit that black and white is my favorite medium and your painting is so pretty! The contrasts are lovely without being overwhelming and the softly abstract presentation is wonderfully appealing! A great entry to the contest, best wishes!
