Jirina, this piece was suppose to be humor, a couple of laughs worth and not too much more. Because there are a lot of paint and sips around the country where you would sip wine and paint. Thank you for the fine review and I am glad you enjoy it. Ray

We are a little different, Ray. My brushes are usually lying all over my desk as I paint. I pick them up and put them in my art box, but not in a stand like you are showing. As for what I drink to paint? Tea... I need caffeine to paint, LOL. I love the colors you used in this piece.

We are a little different, Ray. My brushes are usually lying all over my desk as I paint. I pick them up and put them in my art box, but not in a stand like you are showing. As for what I drink to paint? Tea... I need caffeine to paint, LOL. I love the colors you used in this piece.

Thank you Thomas for the wonderful review and rating. I don't drink and Paint, I have a small glass of wine with dinner, maybe twice a week. It puts me to sleep. Before Covid, Paint and Sips were popping up all over. I am so glad you enjoy it. Ray

I see your colors and your style only a little more traditionally measured. This is a change of pace from your usual blunt and come and get it neo impressionism and I like it.
Overall I get a sense of a light mood. Kind of taking a break from the path and just kicking back and having a little fun.

This is almost a realistic image. That might be accounted for the fact that the glass of wine is full. The blending of pastel colors of the brushes and the contrasting green and rust red containers. The DOF is good, and the glass of wine is a great position to be accessible as needed. Nice work.

I can see that a glass of wine is an important part of the implements of creativity, since it has got a placement in the foreground. LOL Seems like you have a good selection of brushes as well, and here I thought it was the pallet knife being your favorite tool.
It is anyway a great set up, and I like the bright colors, and also how well defined the brushes are. Good use of high lights, and great textures.
The format and framing is perfect, and with the glass off to the right, it is a very good balance in the composition. I think this is a truly lovely and well done painting Ray.

It all depends on, if you are searching, enjoying or admiring. I would say that just about covers all aspects of creating not just painting. I may just turn this into a series. Thank you for the fine review. Ray

I would definitely have this piece on my wall. The way you have blended the brights and pastel colors together almost has the appearance of stained glass without the trimmings. Edgy and innovative.

Sean, I can't cover all the people all of the time and it would be foolish to even try. Sip and Paints have become a popular all over, but I'm not a boozer either. I am gathering other possible implements for future laughs so stay tuned. I am glad you did enjoy the painting. Ray
