This artwork is rather nice in its style and it is colorful with the reds and yellows, greens. The fence in the back is best, in my opinion. The tree shadow and the trunks with the knots are rather nice, but the one in front is larger, smaller, then larger which is incorrect; the basket's front shadow is better than the back one; however, you can improve most of these elements. With more work this can be a fine drawing.

Well I am pleased you reviewed this but disappointed in some remarks. It is not imagination but a real place that I loosely painted not realisticsally which I am not a fan of.

This is a drawing with strong visual impact because of all the strong colors, and I especially like the strong shadows from the wooden poles, because it is giving such a fine indication of the strong sunlight.
Your host must have a very idyllic porch with all the flowers and the fine view. It is fine details to be seen all over.
The format and framing is perfect, and it is a very good balance in the composition. It is a lovely and well done drawing Brenda, and I wish you luck with the contest.

This is a way o turn an unfortunate experience into something beautiful! I like the wooden post on the porch and the planter off to the left, I like the large flowering tree and the fence , I see clumps of flowers growing off the porch on the right .
This is a lovely view from the porch. I think you did an awesome job in creating it.

Oh my what a beautiful painting and the conceptually is divine. When I saw this piece, it was so attention grabbing it could not be passes over. A piece of art I would place on any wall it my house. It takes me back to my childhood.
