This is a great action shot. It is well lit and in focus despite the movement involved. Some parts of the surf look rather false so I would have kept them natural. However, I have no idea what they looked like before so your interpretation could very well be an improvement.
I do like this picture though.

HI Celyn, I added a filter to emphasize the surf to give it a little more depth. Though you may not have enjoyed the look you did enjoy the image and that means a lot! Thanks for the great review! :o) Helvi

I would never have guessed that you would take photos like this Nancy, and especially the flow of water is well captured. I also like the way the warm light is falling on the surfer's face. He is also standing out well from the background.
Even with the creative editing it looks like this started off with a sharp photo, and it is clear details to be seen. The exposure is perfect.
The photo is nicely cropped, and the surfer has got a fine placement within the frame. It is a great looking and well taken photo.

You captured him in action perfectly! The movement of the water and shadows really adds to the momentum of his surf. Without reading your introduction, I knew right away that it was cold just by his wet suit! Great job

Nothing to dislike here. You got the action shot. pleasant weather and refreshing blue water. Even though it's the Fall it takes you to a summer feel which this photo makes me long for. Nice job!
