I like the way that you were able to bring the color conteasts out with the yellow, red, and black.
The only thing I can think of is using color on the fish to have it stand out more, but that really depends on what you are going for.

Thank you, yes I may try out on the fish a Brighter colour, its shaded bits are blue but that hasnt come through i appreciated your suggestion.

Asa I mentioned before, when I saw the contest title, I wondered what would be entered. This is a wonderful illustration of the Old Man and the Sea. The use of light and backlighting is outstanding. The concept of the full moon as the object backlighting the figure and lighting the surface of the sea is well thought out. The vertical format is the perfect use of space. Movement and struggle are well documented. Great post.
