I see a well crafted monochrome of a silhouetted bird with a background of gold light reflecting off of water.
The central placement of the bird puts it out front against a great background. This shot is easy to look at and calming.
The key aspect of the exposure for this take has to be the shutter release speed. From what I see here there is no discernable motion of the ripples - Excellent.
The color of the suns reflected light is so rich and lush - I could look at this all day ... Bob

The colours in this picture are wonderful and the bird is completely in focus so well done. The only thing that I would have changed is that the bird is smack bang in the middle of the picture. I would have moved it more to the right if possible.

Perfect for the contest. The angle of the shot of this silhouette bird on the tall grass by the colorful reflective water is awesome. The capture of the light is great. The clarity is great. The presentation is balance and very eye appealing to the viewer. Great eye and awesome work overall.

This is indeed a beautiful entry into a contest like this, and I especially like the fantastic golden colors from the sunset. This photo has indeed a special atmosphere.
I also like very much the fine ripples you have captured in the water, and the reflections at the top. The silhouetted bird and vegetation is standing out sharp and well defined against the background, and the exposure is perfect.

You have photographed this well with good focus, the image is sharp and clear, I see the bug in flight right near the birds beak!
