This is very cool,, reminds me of a wolf waiting to go hunting or a werewolf out and howling, love those trees in the foreground. great photo for this contest

It is good to see the silhouette of the trees. Otherwise the moon would have looked like a hole. Interesting approach to minimalism. Good luck in the contest!

Although the work is simple, only one main image in the darkness you did so well, and that is the full moon and the moonlight, making the Mixed Media Photography appropriate for the contest. No one could miss that the moon and moonlight are great examples of "M".

You are most welcome. Simple made extraordinary and beautiful.

I love the way the tree branches are silhouetted against the moon but I would have taken it in portrait mode so that there was not so much black space in the picture.

Thank you so much for your review and advice!

This is an interesting shot. It looks as if the moon is resting in the tree--as if the tree was a globe stand. Perhaps as the moon moved across the night sky, it got stuck in the tree :-)

Thank you, this is the view from my back deck - looking south east.

A great entry for this competition, I very much like the tree branches which look almost like a cup holding the moon up. I can only imagine the amount of work in the processing to keep the moon from burning out.
Good luck in the contest.

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of the moon up there being tickled by some tree branches. Well done and good luck!

I can't tell you how much I adore moonlight pictures and how many times and ways I have found to draw them..I may have found two that work for me but this photo is a very dark and lovely night. The night is so dark it looks black and the moon is white golden yellow, the branches act as a delicate prop and it pops. You did a great service to this photo

I have attempted this shot several times without a tripod. Your shot works very well. You have controlled the white balance well. The hints of light around teh moon and the top of the tree gives a ghostly feel to the scene. Well done.
