From your notes I can see that love these two people very much, and I like that you have painted them together. I do however think your brother should have been placed on the right and Ann on the left. The reason is that Delmoe is looking out of the picture.

You have however painted them well, and especially the eyes are well done. I also like the beige neutral background.

The tall format works well, and it is a fine balance in the composition. I think this is a lovely and well done portrait Glena.

Thank you so much, artist friend avmurray, for reviewing and valuable suggestions. I think I just started out sketching and painting with oil pastels as it had been years since I'd done a portrait in oil pastels; however, you are so correct, and in hindsight it would have been better for the placement as you suggest.

They are a beautiful couple and from reading your notes they are also pretty amazing .
They both have such kind and facial expressions , well rendered with good face shapes , accurate proportions and well applied facial features, I especially appreciate the eyes. Your attention to detail is impressive , I also like the way they are posed , I think you did a wonderful job here in creating them using two separate images .well chosen and applied colors and tones.
Very well arranged and presented! Of course they both will be in my prayers!

Wow Glena, I would say you really out did yourself here. This is an incredible and very realistic oil painting. The love you put into this painting shows. The manner in which you placed them beside each other makes them look as if they are floating. This an extraordinary work and the details are well executed. Six!

I'm deeply touched by your narration. Sometimes I wonder how God can be so cruel by making bad things happen to good people. I get frustrated trying to find answers. So, I stoppoed thinking and live by the day. You have done a marvellous job in painting the portraits of the lovely souls pouring out your love. It shows.

Thank you kind artist friend, for reviewing and your support. As a minister, I know God does allow bad things to happen to good people some times. But your statement of action is right on target. My brother has so much to live for and to bless, but somehow he wants to go home and doesn't fight this disease like we'd like. In case I have not already wished this, Please have a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year full of happiness, prosperity, and good health.
