The POV is so well captured. The size of the dune verse the people give the viewer a real prospective of high tll the dune is. We have the Famous Silver Lake Dunes near where I live, and they cover miles of shoreline.

This is another fine capture. As kids we had several hills of sand around and we wold jump off and land in the soft sand below and we called it walking on air. Thank you for the memories. Ray

That is one big sand dune, they look so small up there, I see the trail to get up there too, like a pretty view when you finally get up there. How in the world did all that sand just get piled there in the first place

This is kind of a strange photo. I see the people but the dog, not so much. He is with the girl's arms. Nice blue sky. The more I look at it the more I understand. From the first look, it just looks like a sand hill that people walked up. This could also be a study on light. Right side bright. Middle has a Rembrandt look. Then dark left.

Cool way of photographing the people on top here. I like how this photo kind of leaves room for the imagination, where I don't exactly know what lies underneath this sand dune. I feel like it creates more tension and interest because it makes me want to know more about where the people came from. I like the complimentary color scheme going on as well, the desaturated blues and oranges going on.

that certainly looks very very high up on this mountain. I take it they had to dig in to get to the top Id be sliding down to get to the bottom. looked like a nice outing for this family

I am grateful for your nice review! They would have walked to the top from the landward side which only slopes gently.

Thanks for sharing this scene with the people (appears to be three) and pets. This sand dune is not very attractive and I can hardly see the people or pets. However, you captured it fine.

Interesting observation. A pic of the dune with people well taken. The light and shadows, colours and, composition have worked out well. Good effort!

A beautiful & dramatic picture of the Sand-dune on the coast in Formby, on Merseyside. the two ladies with dogs & the tall man in front of them draws my eye to them as they are standing up against the clear blue sky. The sunlight highlighting the dune & the Marram grass growing on it. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
