The autumn trees are indeed impressive seen from this perspective, and I especially like the variations of colors, and also that we can see a glimpse of blue sky above. These trees are indeed reaching for the sky.
The photo is very sharp and even the thin branches and twigs are well defined. The exposure is perfect.
The tall format is of course perfect, and I like that the stem of the tree is centered. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo Lee Ann, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

The autumn trees are indeed impressive seen from this perspective, and I especially like the variations of colors, and also that we can see a glimpse of blue sky above. These trees are indeed reaching for the sky.
The photo is very sharp and even the thin branches and twigs are well defined. The exposure is perfect.
The tall format is of course perfect, and I like that the stem of the tree is centered. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo Lee Ann, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

nice colorful capture. the angle of the upward shot of this tree with all the colorful leaves is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

This is indeed colorful photography of a different angle of the tree and the sky. There are not a lot of different colors but enough and what they are lovely. Best wishes in the contest.

This has so much DOF and your POV is amazing. I probably would have fallen backward trying to take this vertical shot. The feeling of the scene is that of fine art. Soft lighting and colors give a real feeling of an artistically captured fall scene. Nicely done.

Hi LeeAnne, This would have been so great for the "Unexpected Angles Contest!" What a beautiful shot with all those autumn colors. Love how you looked right up the tree! The view is stunning! Love there's only a touch of blue sky. I have to say it's a great entry for the color contest too. This drew me in right away! I love the angle of shot here looking up, the trunk of the tree makes a perfect leading line, the warm golds and reds with just the bit of green leaves are beautiful and I love that bit of blue sky too!
