Interesting painting. Subtle colouring. I like the free floating branches, trees and other abstract things. Quite unique approach. May I suggest that you crop the painting on all four sides and repost. That will surely have better comments.Good luck in the contest!

well that means I would have to redo it from my phone, since I took this photo with it. Its really not easy lol,, Let me think about it, I usually take photo with my camera but I signed it before I thought about it.

This is beautiful and a wonderful entry for this contest! I love birch trees in winter . The branches are bare so we get to enjoy the birch tree trunks. I love the light colored bark and the way you show the detail in the darker tones, these are well created with a good show of the various shapes and sizes. I like the snowy ground and the bits of grass poking up from the snow. The background is perfect to emphasize the trees!
