Hi Jodi, I was a little worried about posting this because I thought some people might say I ruined the image by putting the before images in with the finished snowflake. Interesting work. I like the shapes and the colours that you have here, and having the blue BG helps the image, as I think white would look blank. Well done and thanks for sharing.

What an amazing result!! When I look at your originals and see the finished result it catches my imagination and appre iation of your a tivities. Very interesting notes ... the central Oz snowflake is how I imagine one of their snowflakes would be. Symetrical, balanced, colourful and beautiful.

The colors are what makes this so special!
You always put so much thought into your work, it's always a multi stepped process! That is so impressive ! I appreciate that you also included the two images showing parts of your process.
This should really inspire the artists here on FAR.
It seems that first you dream it and then you do it!
What's so awesome about this is that I have been meaning to photograph snowflakes, of course they won't be as pretty as this one but it's true that each one is different !

And thank you, I?m always interested in trying anything new. Which editing program do you use, as mine don?t seem to have any filters remotely like a kaleidoscope?

Hi Charlotte, If you'd like a kaleidoscope filter like the one I have go to Medhi plugins. Their plugins are free and they fit into most photo programs. I love mine. You can find other plugins there and lots of other cool information . Have fun! :o) Nancy
