Sea grasses with a little bird

These off chance photos are just great, especially for the photographer to capture. I am a sucker for grasses that blow in the breeze. I like the placement of the bird. The bending blade the bird is on adds interest and serenity at the same time.

The depth of field is perfect to give the image a great deal of depth. Even with this good depth of field you managed to get the closes blade of grass pin sharp. Well done.

This is a really nice photo of the grass and little bird. Very well focused as you can see the grains of the grass that are by the bird, and the ones that are at a further distance are blurred which I think give it a nice touch, well done.

Lovely composition of the sea grasses showing the texture and detail well. The bird landing is an added bonus. Great natural colors and the focus and dof work well.

The overall scene has a sharp shallow DOF to show off the thin layer of focused grasses. However, the out of focus grasses and sky are the real star of the scene. The unfocused DOF is fabulous and so effective for the whole scene. The soft colors and grasses in the background have some movement that adds the feeling of a breeze. Great shot.

Thank you so much Lise! I see these birds in the grasses here all the time as we are driving on the beach and delta in our Jeep, I wasn?t sure what they were!

Awww! You had a special visitor who isn't camera shyfð??? very beautiful! It added so much life to this capture. I enjoy seeing the pale background, causing me to imagine a wintery field in Alaska.
Your photos are so crisp!
What kind of camera is your favorite?

Awww so adorable! He posed just for you. This little guy looks very similar to the hundreds of little birds at my office building. I work in a building shaped like a square 8 so there are two courtyards. The little birds live in the courtyards which shields them from the wind. There are hundreds of them. It's actually quite a sight.
Your little guy here looks brave and proud sitting among the sea grass. Very pretty and natural.

I believe he/she is a sparrow, I do like photos that show things like birds in their natural surroundings, like the color and the little fellow bending over a blade of grass

Love this! Lucky you to have this little bird come along to be in the photo. Love that he landed on this piece of grass. I like the bow of the grass from his weight. Nice lighting and focus make this a very enjoyable image to view. Love the pov and the subject! Nice Job My Friend!

Usually grass covers a portion of the subject. Or a sprig is just in the way. Not here. the bird is perfectly focused. The sprig? It is in back of him.

You are welcome. I couldn't go and take eagle photos this past weekend. I had a sick dog. He's better now. A dog flu is going around. So I'm going to see if I can find eagles a bit closer to home.
