This place is so serene and tranquil and Pat, you have captured it in all its beauty. This place has walking trails and wonderful walking bridge. I love the reflection of the bridge and the snow dusted trees and the river that doesn't freeze. Fishing here must be fabulous. This picture is like a mini vacation. Snow and frost make every thing better in my opinion. Maybe it is because we don't get it often here in the UK, but I really enjoy looking at your image. There are so many things that work here. The subtle colours are really nice and give a nice feel to the shot. So often people shoot just a "pretty scene" and it has no mood or feel to the shot. A viewer should be able to picture themselves in a scene. Love the strong contrast between the snow and the water, and the water leads your eye nicely into the photo. This is complimented by the blue tones in the sky. I really enjoy having man made items in photos too, like a cottage, or in this case the bridge. The reflections of the bridge are nice and once you look at the bridge reflection, the eye then extends to the snowy tree reflections as well. Nice placement in the frame as well. All in all, this is a real winner. Thanks for sharing.

Love the reflection of the bridge on the water. The subtle colors are beautiful and your white balance and exposure on the whites is handled perfectly. Great composition, can see why it is a favorite place. :)

I love the description of this place! The sharpness of the water reflection, the crispness of the snow covered trees and the mountain in the background all offer their own eye draw, sweeping your gaze from side to side to capture it all. Great piece!

If you told me that this is a black and white photo with a blue tint I would believe it. Shades of just two colors, blue and black. I can see foot prints in the snow. Excellent.
