Love these cow, they are made to live in the cold, and they look so ancient, but yet are different. We have some here as a farmer has them, I have to go and take photos as I find them bieautiful to look at

Great entry for this contest! I can definitely tell from their long coats that they are able to deal with the cold exceedingly well. I like how you photographed these two with the surrounding countryside in the background, as well as their slightly off center placement. Very nicely focused with good exposure,an overall lovely photo, best wishes to you!

These guys are cute! they are such gorgeous animals and truly one of the nicest Highland cow pictures I have seen superb. They look friendly and curious cows, good capture and very successful colors.

I love these cows and their colouring. The picture is well lit and the fact that one of them is eating adds to the picture. However, I don't think that their faces are completely in focus. Nevertheless good luck with it

This is an interesting capture. The highland cows posing for you so obediently makes it interesting to view. Fine composition, soft colours and very good light make this first-rate. Good luck!

Good one for the contest and one that works fully for it,the dof works for this while still showing the landscape in which they exist,my only thought on this would to have had them on the right in this, but still okay as such...Brian

Thank you so much for you review - I hadn't thought about it, but yes you're right, it would have been better on the left. Thanks for pointing it out.

The sky is lovely with the soft whites and blues. The mountains against the sky are lovely. The animals are definitely cute farm animals, the first I have seen like these. Best wishes in the contest.

You are most welcome. Enjoyed seeing the farm animals, different than those here near home.

I loved these cows when we saw them on our trip to Scotland. Focus is a little soft and you have recovered some of the blowout but still a little over exposed. Composition is good and the color of cows appears natural.

Thank you so much for your review and for your honesty, it?s very refreshing. Yeah, I did what I could to rescue the photo as I love this pair, but it could probably do with more work on it.

Oh, I do love the Highland Coos. They are just so cool. Nice work on these and your post work is well done. They are both in focus and I like the mouth full of hay.
